Snorkel hole

The bottom hole is the stock hole that used to run thorugh some plastic duct work and end up between the inner and outer drivers side front fender...i removed the duct work and left the hole inthe bottom....i've also been running without any of the plastic pieces inside the wheel well so the air filter would get dirty as hell in a few months...This also caused me to need and extraction from a mud hole by a Jeep (Hangs head in shame) I went thorugh the mud hole the Jeep had just gone through and i notice the truck bucking and the rpms bouncing about halfway through....i shut the truck off right away...water and mud halfway up the tires and coming in the doors fast....after extraction we pulled the airbox apart and everthing was full of water and mud.....luckily i shut it down before any water got into the MAF or the throttly body or worse the engine....removed the air filter, dried out the airbox with rags and avoided puddles of any kind the rest of the day
